Tracy Fields,
RSW, MSW

In my own life, I have experienced the positive impact of sitting with a therapist to help me move through confusing relationships, the passing of a parent in my late teens, and just generally feeling stuck and not knowing how to make things better.

From this, I learned the importance of spending time with someone that really understood me and why I struggled in the way I did. I work to provide the same for my clients; a safe space to seen and heard, and then exploring ways to move forward.

ll my life I have also been a helper of some kind — to my family, friends, co-workers, and pets.

I love to sit with my clients in curiosity as to why they are struggling, help find the deeper reasons why they continue to behave in ways that no longer serve them, and help them move forward. I have a calm gentle presence that helps my clients slow down so they can do the work of healing.

Being a therapist is one of the best pieces of my life. I also love to spend time out in nature with my three beautiful teenagers and Pip, my very happy chocolate lab. And of course reading, I love reading 🙂

I integrate a number of therapeutic models that are evidence-based and offer positive results. These are the most common approaches I use:

  • Narrative therapy

  • Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT)

  • Cognitive-based Therapy (CBT)

  • Somatic Therapy (Hakomi)
